We are very competitively priced for printing and hard binding.
We also offer a very fast service. Turnaround time can be done same day if you are in early, but is usually 24hrs.

We are ideally located for Edinburgh University Students but all Students and Graduates are welcome.

SPECIFICATIONS

• We bind our hard back books in black covers as standard but we are able to source burgundy, blue and various others at special request.

• The lettering on your book can be printed in silver or gold.

• Size of our books are A4 portrait, we stock Landscape and can produce A3 and A5 at special request.

• The maximum spine thickness of our hard bound book is 30mm, this generally equates to 300 pages of 80gsm paper (600 double sided). If your thesis is larger, then splitting into two or more volumes is recommended.

SPINE

On the spine you usually have, in order...

• Your qualification
• Your first and or middle initials then surname
• Your year of graduation

COVER

The cover for a PhD from Edinburgh University is usually left blank but other Universities may require certain details. These could be...

• The name of the University
• The title of your thesis.
(please note that long titles may need to be shortened to fit the matrix)

FILES

If you would like us to print your thesis too then save your file as a PDF and double check the conversion worked, especially if you have latin or special characters.

It helps to submit a list of which pages are in colour and which are in black and white, this helps save on printing costs for you.

COLLECTION & DELIVERY

Generally it is best to collect your Thesis Bind in person from the shop but we are able to arrange a delivery, this may be subject to a small charge.
